Kay Thames. . .Kay is our “oldest” missionary. HA HA sorry (not really) for the humor, Kay!! Kay is the first missionary that came on board, after founders Stephen and Nancy Jeffreys, as an employee of the Ministry in 2004. Kay is a veteran missionary to the CIS (the former Soviet Union). She served two terms with the Co-Mission Ufa, in the oblast of Bashkortistan, located in the southern Ural Mountain region. Kay is a graduate of The Perspectives on World Missions class and has received Perspectives Coordinator training. Since joining KSM Kay has coordinated at least one Perspectives Class per year and usually two. The Perspectives Study Program is an integral part of the ministry and serves to accomplish our desire to mobilize Christians for service with a global “perspective.” Kay lives in Normal, Illinois and cares for her elderly mother.
